PROJECT OVERVIEW
The City of Vermillion is working to make their downtown a more beautiful, accessible, and safe place for residents and visitors alike.
Not only will this downtown renovation result in attractive and functional spaces for people to congregate, but it will also improve bicycle, pedestrian, and vehicular safety.
This project includes utilizing and refining the 2016 Vermillion Downtown Streetscape Master Plan and incorporating elements from the 2018 Vermillion Bicycle Master Plan.
Create a space that's great for public events.
Make downtown Vermillion a destination.
Increase accessibility for all ability levels.
Provide more space for pedestrians.
Increase safety for bicyclists, pedestrians, & drivers.
Draw attention to Vermillion's history and architecture.
